Day of the Dead Nov. 2. Our Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 to noon, is a family-friendly activity when you can learn about this popular holiday of Latin America. It is especially important in Mexico. It is a day of happiness where we celebrate the lives of people who have died.

The entire family is welcome to attend. There will be different stations where children can complete a craft, hear a story or try some traditional Day of the Dead food. We will be decorating a Day of the Dead altar and displaying it in the children’s room. Learn more about different cultures and traditions through crafts, food and bilingual stories.

Children younger than 5 may need help from an adult to complete the activities.
