The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announces the annual Halloween Prowl at the Saylorville Lake Visitor Center.  Bring the youngsters for a real treat.  Activities will include a hike on the haunted nature trail, a movie with treats and an indoor craft.  The trail will be haunted with creatures that have an environmental message to share. Wear a costume of your own if you like! For those not so fond of the dark, meet at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26th for a pre-school version of the Prowl.  A grade school version of the prowl will meet at the Visitor Center at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26th. Pre-registration is required. To register call the Derek Murken at (515) 276-4656 ext. 6507. Feel free to leave a message.  The Saylorville Lake Visitor Center is located off Highway 415 on Horseshoe Road seven miles north of Des Moines.
