Following the Clive City Council meeting on October 3, Clive City Council Member Steven Brody informed Clive Mayor Scott Cirksena he would be resigning from his position as Council Member effective immediately citing personal reasons.

During the October 17 meeting the City Council will have a discussion on how they intend to fill the City Council vacancy either through appointment or special election.
