Funeral services for Treva Smith, 90, of Jefferson, will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson. Interment will be in the Jefferson Cemetery. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the funeral, beginning at 12 noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her son, Steve (Tammy) Smith of Jefferson; Claudia (Roger) Kerndt of Clive; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; sisters: Maxine (Duane) Dunlop, Nadine (Verle) Bennett, and Billie Pevestorf, all of Jefferson; her brother, Robert (Margaret) Calvert of Charles City, IA; 10 nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
