Eleanor Mahler died quietly on September 27, 2013, following a series of difficulties resulting from strokes.
Eleanor moved back to Iowa after raising a family in Southern California. In her lifetime she made stops in Chicago, Buffalo, Des Moines, Los Angeles, Agra ( India), and Shinjuku (Japan).
Eleanor will be greatly missed by her two sons, David and Gregory (Marjorie), four grandchildren and their spouses, and two great-grandchildren. Her family reaches from Atlanta, Georgia to Auckland, New Zealand.
Private ceremonies will be held at a later date in Glendale, California.
