Black Hills Energy hires new operations supervisor in Webster City, Iowa

WEBSTER CITY, IA — September 25, 2013 — Black Hills Energy is pleased to announce that Michael Wright has been promoted by the company to operations supervisor for the Webster City area.

Wright’s responsibilities will include overseeing the natural gas operations and customer service activities in Webster City, Story City and Stanhope.

“Michael’s 20 years of experience in the industry and proven work ethic will serve Black Hills Energy’s customers and the community well.  He’s demonstrated his leadership and partnership in his community involvement, volunteerism, and service,” said Steve Stone, central region manager of gas operations. “We’re dedicated to providing safe, reliable service to our customers, and he is a great addition to those efforts.”

Wright previously worked for Black Hills Energy in the Paullina and Primghar area, where he was a community service technician. He has an Associate Degree in Climate Control from North Iowa Area Community College.

Wright and his family will live in Webster City.
