Judy Lampe, 69, died Friday, September 20, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be 12:30 pm, Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.

Judy was born March 5, 1944 in Lansing, Iowa to Orrin “Dutch” and Betty (Thorpe) Bray. She retired as a customer service representative for Amoco Oil Company. Judy loved to paint and spend time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Gary of Des Moines; her 100 year old mother-in-law, Ruth Lampe of Winterset; sons: Michael (Tanyia) Brown of Johnston, David (Jamie) Brown of Bellevue, NE, Jeff Lampe of Des Moines; 5 grandchildren; three great grandchildren (with one on the way); one brother; three sisters; many nieces and one nephew.
