In a statewide effort by the Iowa State Fire Marshal’s Office to ensure Iowa’s children have working smoke alarms, the Clive Fire Department was fortunate enough to receive a limited number of the new, dual sensing smoke alarms for installation by Clive Firefighters in Clive homes. Due to the limited number of detectors available, returned responses will be evaluated for established need criteria and families will be notified by the Fire Marshal to schedule a time for installation.
