Allan Jones
Allan E. Jones 84 passed away on Saturday September 21, 2013 at home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday September 25, 2013 at Grandview Park funeral home with burial in Berwick Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday night from 5-7 p.m.
Allan was born in Higbee, MO on June 24, 1929. He has resided in Des Moines most of his life. He served in the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War and worked for Metro solid waste landfill before retiring in 1992. Allan raised poultry all his life.
His survivors include his wife of 58 years Eva, two sons Tom (Sandy) Jones and Rick Jones, two grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
