Pat was very family oriented, loved to cook and family gatherings were her most favorite times in life. We would be remiss if we didn’t mention her love for bingo. Shortly after graduation, on December 26, 1952, Patricia was married to Harold Beck, and they spent the next 60 years together side by side. Pat was an active member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Des Moines.

While raising her four children, Pat enjoyed working part-time at the Scandanavian Shop in Des Moines and Standard Oil Credit Card Center in West Des Moines. After moving to Mesa in 1991, Pat and Harold owned and operated a Sir Speedy Printing Franchise in Phoenix.
