John Drinnin
John Robert Drinnin, 63, passed away September 9, 2013. He was a devoted son and loving father and grandfather.
John was passionate about helping children with autism and their families, and he dedicated his career to advocating for their needs in the school system. Always entertaining, he was a witty and energetic storyteller. He enjoyed retired life by spending time with his family and friends, and especially loved taking his grandkids on special outings.
John will be missed by his partner, Mike Kyle; children, Erin (Jason Jones) and Joel (Amanda; step-daughter, Sarah Kyle; grandchildren, Mabyn, Jade, Beatrice, and Jacob; his mother, Mary; and sister, Connie Brockmeyer. John was preceded in death by his father, John Rudolph Drinnin.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Friday, September 13 at Iles Dunn’s Chapel followed by visitation with the family until 5 p.m.
