Walk With Ease at Dallas County Hospital

Are you or someone you know wanting to start a walking course? Then the Walk With Ease Program is just for you.  Walk With Ease is an exercise program that can reduce pain and improve overall health. If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, you can have success with Walk With Ease. The Walk With Ease Program will help you:

·         Motivate yourself to get in great shape
·         Walk safely and comfortably
·         Improve your flexibility, strength and stamina
·         Reduce pain and feel great
In studies by the Thurston Arthritis Research Center and the Institute on Aging of the University of North Carolina, Walk With Ease was shown to reduce pain, increase balance and strength, and improve overall health.

The Walk With Ease Program at Dallas County Hospital will begin on Monday, September 16th. The group will meet at 10 am three times a week (Monday, Wednesday & Fridays) for six weeks on the second floor of the hospitals south atrium. Cost for the six week program is just $15. Dallas County Hospital to Host Ladies Night Out
Dallas County Hospital invites you to join us for a FREE Ladies Night Out on Tuesday, September 17th from 6:00 – 7:30 pm in the DCH Community Room. Spend some time learning about your skin health with a special presentation by Linda Schilling, ARNP, who specializes in dermatology.  Linda will discuss causes of dry skin, what to look for in skin care products, skin protection and how your diet affects your skin. Then complete the evening with refreshments and a Fall or Halloween themed craft! Space is limited, pre-registration is required.
