DES MOINES, Ia. – Trisha Trixie, a Des Moines Pin Up model and fashion designer specializing in vintage fashions, aprons and accessories, is announcing a new type of fashion show scheduled for Sunday, October 13th at the 4th Street Theatre in Des Moines, inside Java Joes. Portions of the proceeds will go to benefit Junior League of Des Moines.
Trisha Trixie is a “Vintage Fashionista” who designs and sells custom-designed aprons and fashion accessories influenced by vintage pinup-model styles and Rockabilly subculture. Her October 13th fashion show will be a colorful, engaging live event to debut some new styles and show her audience some of the latest trends in vintage-inspired apron and accessory design.
“With holiday cooking, baking, cleaning and fun time just around the corner, we can’t wait to show you a fabulous new line of vintage inspired aprons from Trisha Trixie Designs,” Trisha said. “Along with our Re-Purposed Aprons with items from Bargain Basket and other materials such as old skirts, tablecloths and even sheets, we will be showcasing all of our Custom Apron designs including our Racy Apron, Sexy Style Apron, Male Suit Style Aprons and our Apron Set for Mother, Daughter, and Dolls and Burp Rags and Potty Pants with a collaboration from Peppers Potty Pants maker Laura Lundberg!!”
Lani Besler, Allure Photographic, out of Omaha will have a fun photo booth there for guests to purchase and leave with prints that night and a portion of the proceeds from each sale go to The Junior League as well!
“I want to help out the Junior League of Des Moines because it is something I believe in and if I had the time I would be a part of this great organization. Since I just don’t have the time to be a member right now because my plate is already full, I wanted to do something that would help this group that I admire so much!” said Trisha Trixie. Trisha Trixie was a model for The Junior League’s, FashionEasta show in the East Village back in 2010. Trisha is currently a member of the Downtown Des Moines Chamber, a Former Jaycee, Former YPC Member and other groups and Organizations. She also used to be the Founder of Warriors for the Homeless. She loves to network and be connected and giving back to her community and organizations has a strong place in her heart.
“Fashion photographers are also welcome to attend the show, free of charge, to take photos of the show for their portfolio,” said Trisha Trixie.

Tickets: General Admission is $15. A limited number of VIP seats are available for $25 (which includes a VIP gift bag). $5 of the proceeds from each ticket will be donated to the Junior League of Des Moines.

All sales from the Raffle will benefit JLDM. Raffle tickets are $5 a ticket or $20 an arm length! How many tickets depend on the size of your arm!!
Entertainment after the show will be provided by Rumble Seat Riot, a fabulous local Rockabilly Band! Appetizers and Beverages will be served.
