The Friends of the Perry Public Library would like to invite you to join their membership.
The Friends’ group was organized to support, sustain and enhance the library’s services to the community. Without the support of the Friends’ organization the library would not be able to have the programs, technology and collections that make it the great place you visit.
The majority of the funding for the Summer Reading Program came from the Friends. Other projects funded by the Friends in the past year include the coin-operated copier, computer software, a laptop computer, a desktop computer, program craft supplies, the Book Page, the book preview magazine distributed in the library, the courtesy coffee available in library for patrons, courtesy refreshments for programs, the Chocolate Walk supplies and the Halloween Spooktacular candy.
In addition, the Friends of the Perry Public Library provide cookies throughout National Library Week to patrons, decorate the Library for the holidays and volunteer for special events and programs at the library.
As an added feature this year, all completed membership forms returned to the library by Sept. 30, will be entered into a drawing for $50 worth of Perry Bucks.
