Edythe Jones
Edythe lived a full life and is now at peace. She passed away August 30, 2013 at Carlisle Care Center. Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday, September 3 at Brooks South Town Chapel at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Funeral will follow at 2 p.m.
Edythe was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bessie Morris; her son-in-law, John Phillip Edwards; and her great-grandson, Jacob Ryan Pullen.
Edythe is remembered by her daughter, Kimberley Edwards of Pleasant Hill; son, Melvin Thomas Jones of Urbandale; five grandchildren: Chad (Maranda) Harvey of Des Moines, Angela Harvey of Waukee, Maggie (R.J.) Lancaster of Urbandale, Jamie (Jesse) Sziber of Des Moines, and Raymond T. “Buddy” Jones of Madrid; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Jamie Sziber.
