Tom Plummer, age 50, of 805 ½ 8th Street, died of cancer on August 25, 2013.
His body has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be Thursday, August 29, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall with Rev. Jerry Bertelson officiating. Burial of his cremains will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery following the service.
Thomas Dean Plummer was born in Arkansas on September 12, 1962, the son of Arlene (Beals) Plummer.
Tom graduated from Boone High School in 1981.
On September 19, 1986, he married Cindy Mallicoat in Boone. The couple later divorced.
Tom worked as a paper cutter at Heinrich Envelope.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge #104.
Tom enjoyed bowling, golfing, and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.
He was preceded in death by his mother, grandmother Anna Beals, and his aunt Norma (Beals) Brown.
Tom is survived by two daughters Jessica Plummer and companion Michael Archer of Ogden, and Holly Plummer and companion Skyler Lundberg of Stratford; a brother Byron Plummer and wife Debbie of Boone, a sister LynnAnn Squire of Red Bluff, California; a niece Jennifer Reynolds and husband Cody of Boone and their daughters Haylee, Taytem, and Kaydence; his former wife Cindy Plummer of Boone; and an uncle Bob Brown of Boone. Also surviving is Tom’s best friend, Lucky, his cat.
Friends may call at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel on Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. where the family will be present from 6 until 8 p.m. On Thursday, friends may call from 8 a.m. until service time.
