Ronald Earl Allsteadt, 77, died on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Private cremation services were held.
Ronald was born on February 1, 1936, in Hastings, NE to John and Marvel (Fey) Allsteadt. He was a graduate of Tech High School. Following graduation, he joined the US Army. Ronald lived in Davenport, retiring from the printing business in 1998. He moved to Des Moines in 2008. His joys in life were collecting vintage cocktail shakers and fishing in many places throughout the country.
Ronald will be missed by his life partner Norma Klein of Windsor Heights; sister, Jean Allsteadt of West Des Moines; son Ronald Allstead of Cedar Rapids; brother-in-law, Mike Sisco; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Sisco; son Randy Allsteadt; parents John and Marvel Allsteadt; and brother Wayne Allsteadt.
