With the hot summer months wrapping up and the school year about to start, NewLife Church is switching over from its lighter summer schedule back to its regular schedule bustling with activities.
After Sept. 15, the church will go from one Sunday service at 10 a.m. to two services at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
Nzone will be back in full force, too. Nzone is the church’s youth group for junior and senior high school students. The group meets Sunday from 6 – 8 p.m. and starting Sept. 8 will go back to meeting every Sunday night. Each meeting is full of fun, fellowship and education. With a lesson, snacks and games, what better way to spend a mellow night before the long school week begins?
Sunday, Sept. 8 is a big day for the church. Not only does Nzone return, but the church is also having a “We’re Halfway There” celebration at 10 a.m. The church is celebrating having raised half of the money needed to pay off the church and be debt free. Once the church is out of debt, they plan to keep raising money to pay for new additions. This special celebration will have food and be full of surprises; don’t miss out.
Want to relive a favorite sermon? Or maybe you couldn’t make to Sunday service? The church has its own sermon blog where you can listen to its Sunday sermons posted religiously each week. Now you can listen to these enlightening words from the comfort of your own home or anywhere with a WiFi connection. That’s not all; the church also posts podcasts of class sessions and interviews with other NewLife members. With a myriad of topics covered and archived, it’s everything you need for an online spiritual experience. Take a listen, because it’s all available for free at www.newlifedph.com.
