Outside Magazine names Two Rivers Marketing as one of America’s ‘Best Places to Work’ in 2013

DES MOINES, Iowa (Aug. 6, 2013) — Two Rivers Marketing, a leading provider of business-to-business marketing and public relations services located in Des Moines’ East Village, was recently named to Outside Magazine’s sixth annual “Best Places to Work” list — celebrating companies that have taken innovative steps to establish a new, healthy work-life balance standard.

Partnering with the Outdoor Industry Association and the Best Companies Group, Outside Magazine launched the yearlong selection process by first identifying a wide range of nonprofit and for-profit organizations across the United States with at least 15 employees. Participating companies were sent confidential employee-satisfaction surveys and employer-questionnaires to collect information regarding benefit offerings, compensation packages, environmental initiatives and community outreach programs. The experts at the Best Companies Group then analyzed their findings, selecting the companies that best enable employees to pursue active lifestyles while also supporting their social and environmental contributions.

In addition to highlighting the Top 100 companies, this year’s “Best Places to Work” list spotlights “Fitness-Friendly” companies, as well as those with the most liberal “Flex Time” policies, the “Best Travel Perks” and the “Best Office Culture.”
