Charles Gazzo
Charles was born August 17, 1957 in Des Moines and passed away August 3, 2013 from complications of melanoma. He was a graduate of St. Anthony’s Grade School, Dowling Catholic High School and Drake University. Charles most recently worked at St. Gregory’s Retreat Center, and was happy to be assisting others.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel J. and Mary Gazzo.
Charles is remembered by his siblings: Barbara (Bill) Trout, Jeanine Gazzo, Raymond J. (Jean) Gazzo, Linda M. Gazzo, and Charlene (Gary) Marinaro; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with mass following at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Anthony Catholic Church Foundation or St. Gregory’s Retreat Center.
