Berean Assembly of God Church is striving to make everyone feel a part of their community. Join in one of the many groups the church offers to connect with others and God. With so many options there’s something for believers of all ages and interests.
As the saying goes, “Age ain’t nothing but a number,” and those 50 and older agree. There is a special group just for the mature crowd that meets the fourth Thursday of every month at Perkins at 8 a.m.
For the young pups looking to engage in Christian groups, the church has one for those aged 18 – 29. Young adults looking to join can find the group every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Berean campus room N102. Everyone eats, prays, studies and discusses this beautiful thing called life together.
The church invites those who abstain from drugs and alcohol to its Freedom Group that meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the main auditorium. This group celebrates freedom from addictive behaviors while members help support each other to remain free. The group also challenges its members to delve deeper into their faith and to build a stronger relationship with God.
Single adults looking to socialize with one another and learn have a class every Wednesday at 7 p.m. as well. This group meets in room S211 and discusses all the challenges and everyday life experiences single adults go through while also covering Bible topics.
Wanting to learn more about God and meet others who are just as involved in their faith? Join the New Believers group. Not just a class for those new to the faith, this a time for those on any part of their journey to delve deeper. This group also meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in room S214.
The fellowship doesn’t end here; the church offers countless other community groups, too. For more information on any of these groups or other church events stop by at 5299 E. University or visit the website at www.bereanag.com.
