Summer reading programs winding down

Posted July 17, 2013 in Community Blogs

Our last Tuesday Adventure for the summer will be Tuesday July 23rd, 10:00 a.m. – “Explore Africa” The African-American Museum of Iowa

Share the wealth of Africa’s culture and history! Children will be given the opportunity to play African instruments, try-on traditional clothing and immerse the family in a truly multicultural experience.

It’s not too late to register for the Children’s and Teen Summer Reading Programs.  Stop by the Children’s Reference Desk and the Adult Reference Desk to register and pick up reading logs and earn great prizes.  The Summer Library Program is sponsored by the Friends of the Fort Dodge Public Library.

Come in and check out all the new books and movies we’ve added this summer.  There’s something for everyone available at your Fort Dodge Public Library.  Get out of the heat and enjoy the air conditioning!

Dig into Reading at the Fort Dodge Public Library!
