Patricia Roark, 75, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 15, at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery
Pat was born in Des Moines, Iowa to Jim and Frances Griffin and graduated from East High School in 1957. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and playing bingo.
Pat is survived by her sons, Tom (Shelly) Knudson of Guthrie Center, Fred Knudson of West Des Moines and John (Kathy) Knudson of Waukee; her sister, Rosemary (Richard) Groce of Sun City West, AZ; her brother-in-law, Dale Somers of Pleasant Hill; her grandchildren, Josh Knudson, Bailey Knudson and Aubrey Knudson; and numerous nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John R. Roark.
