Talented, minority and at-risk students at ASAP and Orchard Place (PACE) created the images displayed in a new traveling photo exhibit.
“Aperture: An Opening” features photographs of places and symbols that are important in these students’ lives. Take a look at these wonderful photographs displayed in the Gateway Gallery throughout July during regular library hours. The project, coordinated by CultureALL, is led by artistic director and photographer Dan Welk and is supported by Variety – the Children’s Charity and Bankers Trust. Project collaborators include VSA Iowa, ASAP, Orchard Place and CultureALL.
