Vivian Lunde, 87, died Thursday, May 16, 2013, at HCI Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel with visitation to follow until 3:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 20, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery north of Le Grand, Iowa.

Vivian was born in Quarry, Iowa and has lived in Des Moines for many years. She retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber Company after 36 years of service and spent her leisure time volunteering. Vivian was a member of First Federated Church in Des Moines and CE Chapter of the TTT Society.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Neola and William Lunde. She is survived by several cousins. Memorial contributions may be made to HCI Care Services, the American Heart Association or the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences will be welcomed at Iles Cares.com.
