Thursday, April 4th the Ankeny Art Center hosted the Ankeny K-12 Art reception to celebrate young local artists. Students’ kindergarten through 12th grade were selected by teachers and staff to exhibit in this show. Almost 600 elementary artists and their family members attended the reception Thursday evening. The exhibit will be displayed at the Ankeny Art Center until April 30th . The Ankeny Art Center will be hosting a special reception for Ankeny Middle & High School students on Thursday, April 11th from 5-7pm.
