The week of April 14-20 has been designated National Library Week 2013. The theme is Communities Matter @ Our Library. Perry Library will participate April 15-20, with special displays and prize drawings, cookies provided by the Friends of the Perry Library, our Friends quarterly book sale, and an amnesty program called Food for Fines for patrons with outstanding library fines. Any patron with a library fine may bring non-perishable grocery items to the library, and one library fine will be forgiven for each donated item. (Fees for lost or damaged items are not eligible.) The donations will be delivered to the Perry Food Pantry at the end of the week. Come and visit the library and help us celebrate all that libraries do for our community!
