Denise La’Nae (Bankson) Repp, age 50, of Centerville, Iowa went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 6th, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville, Iowa.

Denise was born on December 20th, 1960 in Louisiana, Missouri, the daughter of Don and Mildred (Crouse) Bankson. She graduated from Centerville High School Class of 1981.

On December 14th, 1982 Denise was joined in marriage to Clay Repp in Centerville, Iowa. To this union was born a daughter, Faith La’Nae Repp. She was the apple of her parents eye. Denise loved spending time with Faith and acting silly. Denise was so proud of Faith and her service to her country. Denise enjoyed painting, music, teaching Sunday school, women’s retreats, watching tv, spending time with her family and her beloved cats and granddog Cash. Denise always liked making a funny and getting a laugh.

Denise, Clay, and Faith joined the Pentecostal Church, where they made several life time friends, including Pastor and Sister Waits.

Denise loved life, even when times were tough with all her medical problems and the loss of her beloved Faith, she always took the time to ask others about their lives. She praised Jesus for all the good things that happened around her.

Denise is survived by her husband Clay; her mother Mildred; sisters Linda (Dennis) Hammack, Judy Stokke, Debrah Fenton, Donna (Rick) Zaputil; brothers Kevin (Deborah) Bankson, Craig (Michelle) Bankson; mother-in-law Donnabell Repp; brother-in-law Wayne (Theresa) Repp; sister-in-law Cheryl (John) Kauzalich; and many nieces and nephews.

Denise was preceded in death by her loving daughter Faith; her father Don; father-in-law Richard Repp; and great-nephew Wyatt Dean Voth.

Funeral services will be held 2PM Monday afternoon, February 11th, 2013 at Lange Funeral Home, Centerville, Iowa with Pastor Waits officiating. Friends may call Sunday from noon to 8pm at the Lange Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8PM. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the family through the Apostolic Pentecostal Church and may be left at or mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory at 1900 south 18th street, Centerville, Iowa or Apostolic Pentecostal Church, PO BOX 563, Centerville, Iowa, 52544 Condolences may be left online at
