Mary Ann Guadagnoli, age 75, of 715 West Fourth Street, died at the Boone County Hospital on January 19, 2013.

Following her wishes, her body has been cremated. A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Cornerstone Alliance Church with Rev. King Smith officiating.

Mary Ann was born September 19, 1937, in Boone, the daughter of Guy and Verna (Schaffner) McMahon.

She graduated from Boone High School in 1955.

Mary Ann married Donald Todd in Madrid, Iowa, on August 15, 1955. The couple later divorced.

She married Lawrence ‘Larry’ Guadagnoli on November 6, 1994, at Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mary Ann worked in the clerical departments at Pat Clemons, Betts Cadillac, and finally Holmes Oldsmobile, retiring in 2001.

Her family was always first. She enjoyed socializing, her dogs, visiting casinos, flower gardening, and feeding squirrels.

She also collected bells and angel figurines.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents and husband Larry.

Survivors include three daughters: Cindi Peterson and husband Dave, Dawn Van Pelt and companion Leon Bradley, all of Boone, and Debi Shreve and companion Tim Johnson of Gilbert; two step-daughters: Michele Guadagnoli and Lisa Guadagnoli, both of Des Moines; three step sons: Larry Guadagnoli and wife Jill of Carlisle, Peter Guadagnoli of Texas, and Paul Guadagnoli of the state of Nevada; a brother John McMahon and wife Gail of Newton; three grandchildren: Ashley(Peterson) Stoner and husband Justin of Ankeny, Jenna Van Pelt and Kayla (Van Pelt) Young and husband Jon, all of Boone; four step-grandchildren: Colin, Paul, Larry, and David Guadagnoli.

Friends may call at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall on Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. The family will be present to receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.

On Wednesday, friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until service time.

In memory of Mary Ann, memorials may be directed to the family.
