Be Curious at the Library

In 2013 the Kirkendall Public Library will kick off its new series “Be Curious” with “Be Curious: Art”.

The series is sponsored by the Kirkendall Public Library Foundation and Friends of the Library.

Throughout January and February the library will sponsor a series of free programs –on photography, drawing, art history, and other topics.  The library is also exhibiting works by area artists throughout the library during January and February.

January 22nd at 3:30pm:  Be Curious About Recycled Art for School Aged Kids

January 23rd at 6:00pm:  Pre-school Drop-in Craft

January 24th at 7:00pm:  Be Curious About Embroidered Necklaces (Pre-Registration Required)

January 29th at 7:00pm:  Life and Art of Grant Wood

Watch for the February Program Schedule

“Be Curious: Writing” will begin in March followed by “Be Curious: Music” and “Be Curious: Heritage” in the spring and summer of 2013. Please call the library or visit for more information.
