The Fort Dodge Public Library Winter Family Reading Program kicked off on January 7. “Snuggle Up With a GOOD BOOK” is the theme for the 6th annual Winter Reading Program.
The program is simple—all it takes is a stop at either the Children’s or Adult Reference desks to register! Patrons of all ages are asked to fill out an entry form that will tell us the title of a good book that they have snuggled up with that week. Once a week we will draw an entry each from both the child and adult submissions. The patrons that have their names drawn will receive a Winter Reading Tote bag! The bag contains something fun for everyone in the family to enjoy – winter supplies, books, games, snacks and a Fort Dodge Public Library blanket.
The Winter Reading Program is made possible by a generous donation from the George and Dee Fawkes family and the Challenge Grant which provided matching funds.
