An ounce of prevention

Posted January 09, 2013 in Advice Column, Norwalk

With the new year upon us, many plans are made. How can we plan for our pets? With prevention. Prevention results in longer quality life at less cost:

• Did you know at 30 percent of pet of all ages have changes on bloodwork without symptoms?

• The diseases we commonly vaccinate for each year still have outbreaks in unvaccinated and under-vaccinated pets. Vaccines prevent disease, and we guarantee it. Ask us about our immunization support guarantee!

• Four out of every five pets are overweight. Pets of ideal weight will live an average of two years longer. Ask us about our free pet weight loss program, and let your pet earn you money.

• More than half of all pets have painful problems hiding under the gumline that can only be seen by dental X-rays. Schedule a dental procedure to keep the mouth clean and extend your pet’s life by an average of three years.

How can you save money? Prevent! Ask your veterinarian about prevention or find out other ways we can save you money by going to our website:  or use the QR code here. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Further questions?  Email
