Posted December 27, 2012 in Web Exclusives

The public is invited to attend the Polk County Conservation Board Meeting on Wednesday, January 9th, 5:30 p.m., at the Jester Park Lodge to participate in a public hearing on the proposed three-year project implementation plan as part of the Polk County Water and Land Legacy (PCWLL) Bond Referendum.

A listing of these initial projects and descriptions will be posted on the Polk County Conservation website at on January 7th.

On November 6th, voters supported the Polk County Water and Land Legacy Bond (PCWLL) in historic fashion passing the measure by 72%. As an outcome of this support, Polk County Conservation Board is responsive to public interest and communication about projects being delivered in the first three years of bonding.

No individual with a disability will be excluded from participation in programs and activities conducted by Polk County Conservation. To request an accommodation to participate in this program, contact Polk County Conservation.
