Chamber Cheer For the Holidays

Rideout BettyaaaTake a deep breath as you sip your cup of coffee, lean back and relax. Are you in the moment?

As you read this piece, you may be reflecting on the year you’ve been through. There have been both good and bad days for us all, and we’ve certainly had our share of major news events that captured our attention. Thankfully we’re finally past Election Day, and we’ve enjoyed a great Thanksgiving holiday, sharing time with cherished family and friends. The memories linger, as does perhaps a pound or two.

Now we’re fully in the blissful but sometimes stress-inducing time of year known as the holiday season, with the promise of a new year approaching. At the Windsor Heights Chamber, we’re working on exciting prospects and programs for the upcoming year. We’re evolving and creating more ways to engage our community and provide value to our members, helping to promote and support all our efforts in 2013.

But before we get you ramped up for an exciting future, we want to extend our gratitude to all our Windsor Heights Chamber members and our burg of merchants and neighboring businesses that have supported us throughout 2012. Many of us in Windsor Heights have benefitted from their generous contributions, with particularly significant support by Hy-Vee, Walmart and the City of Windsor Heights. There have been many happy faces who have received prizes from the merchants who helped make our activities such a success, from our bowling blitz, the annual spaghetti dinner to the Fourth of July Bingo and our annual Chamber Golf Outing. So for this holiday season and into the brave new year and beyond, please remember to shop the businesses of Windsor Heights for all your needs and wants. These businesses have helped us to keep our community vibrant and dynamic, so please support them with your shopping dollars.
