Christmas Cheer

Join Faith Baptist Church members in Christmas caroling on Sunday, Dec. 16.

Christmas brings cheer to families of Fort Dodge in many ways throughout the holiday season.

One of the ways that Faith Baptist Church spreads good tidings to the community is through its annual Christmas caroling night, which will take place this year Sunday, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m. All are welcome to join the congregation in spreading festive voices of Christmas song throughout the community and celebrating the spirit of the season. For more information about Christmas caroling at Faith Baptist or other events taking place at the church, visit the website at www.faithbaptistchurchfortdodge.org, or stop by, and join in on the celebration at 1408 N. 22nd St.

Because music is such an important part of the celebration of Christmas, First United Methodist Church would like to invite everyone to join its members in its annual Chancel Choir Christmas Cantata, as well as the Fort Dodge Choral Society Concert, which both take place at the church on Sunday, Dec. 16. This is a great opportunity to experience how beautiful voices can truly ring in the holiday spirit and remind folks of reasons to be thankful. For more information on these choral presentations or other celebrations at First United Methodist, visit the church website at www.fumc.org, or pay a visit to the church at 127 N. 10th St.

First Presbyterian Church would like to announce its brand-new college internship program beginning in January. This is a great opportunity for college students to grow their faith with understanding and experience in multiple areas within the ministry of First Presbyterian. The intern will be working alongside Pastor Austin Hill and have the opportunity to work within the student ministry.

Applications for this position are available in the church office or online at www.firstpresfd.org. This is a part-time, paid position available to any student enrolled in college and able to work 15 – 20 hours per week. For more information about the internship position or other events happening at First Presbyterian visit the church website the church, located at 1111 Fifth Ave. N.
