Even though it does not feel like it outside today, winter weather with the potential for late starts, early dismissals, and school cancellations is potentially just around the corner.  I would encourage everyone to make sure they have taken the time to plan for each of these possibilities.  I would also encourage everyone to sign up for OneNotify.  OneNofity is the system the school uses to notify the public of schedule changes and weather delays and cancellations.  If you have not signed up for OneNotify, there is a link to sign up on the Jefferson-Scranon hompage under the “For Parents and Students” tab.

OneNotify sends messages via e-mail, text messages, and voice calls.

I would like to remind everyone that the High School Music Department will hold their Dessert Concert on Monday, December 10th at 7:30 PM in the middle school gym.  Admission to the concert is $5.00.

School will be dismissed for Winter Break at the end of the day on Friday, December 21st.  Classes will resume on Monday, January 7th.
