Funeral Services for Pauline Wright, 81, of Jefferson will be 2:00 pm Monday, December 3, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson. Interment will be in Highland Township Cemetery, Bayard, IA.Visitation with the family will be Monday, December 3, 2012  from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson.Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson is in charge of arrangements.

Pauline is survived by her husband Ron of Jefferson; son Dennis  (Mischia) Wright of Lawrence, KS; daughters Kathryn Lighthall of Davis, CA and Terry (Dirk) Dunn of Villisca, IA;  seven grandchildren.; and Brazilian daughter Adriana Ely.

Helen Pauline Patrick was born on December 18, 1930 on a farm in Viola Township, in Audubon County, Iowa. Her parents were Earnest A. Patrick and Alta Isabelle (Carver) Patrick. Pauline attended school in rural Greene County, Iowa and Bayard High School, where she graduated in 1949.

Pauline and Ron Wright were married in Jefferson, Iowa in 1950. They had three children, Dennis, Kathryn, and Teresa.

Pauline worked at Woodruff Pharmacy and then Drug Town Pharmacy for many years. She enjoyed the customers that she served and the visits with them. Pauline has made many quilts. Her granddaughters each have one that she made and they really enjoy them.

Pauline passed away November 29, 2012. She was 81 years of age. Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Harold.

Survivors include her husband Ron Wright of Jefferson; son Dennis and his wife Mischia of Lawrence, KS; Kathryn Lighthall of Davis, CA; and Teresa Dunn and her husband Dirk of Villisca, IA; and seven grandchildren: Chad, Deidra, Derrica, Hilary, Hannah, Austin, and Berkleigh; and Brazilian daughter Adriana Ely.
