Manhattan’s nine-hole course built on 100 acres plays to all skill levels of golfers. With two lakes, a creek and abandoned railroad on the property, the scene is purely country.
It has a full pro shop, driving range, club and cart rental and amenities to serve customers. Manhattan Golf Club is family-owned and operated.
The building is also home to the Manhattan Steakhouse, which features a buffet from noon until 2 p.m., 5 p.m. until close Tuesday through Saturday, and Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Trophies Sports Bar offers an extensive menu and drinks.

Francis Drake, a Centerville native, had a successful career as a lieutenant colonel, governor, businessman, banker, lawyer, railroad builder and founder of Drake University. The Drake billboards highlight interesting places to visit and display local history that connect the community to world events. At each Drake location, there are maps pointing out all of the places Drake can be found.
