Rosemary “Rosie” Tedrow, age 57, of 204 Cedar Street, passed away on October 25, 2012, at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.
Private services will be held and burial will be in the Linwood Park Cemetery.
Rosemary Marie Palmer Tedrow was born in Boone on August 3, 1955, the daughter of Richard and Mary (Van Cannon) Palmer.
She graduated from Boone High School in 1974.
On May 19, 1973, Rosie married Charles “Chuck” Tedrow in Boone.
Rosie was a lifelong resident of Boone and was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
She enjoyed flower gardening, traveling all over the United States, collecting antiques, and she liked baseball.
Rosie had a strong faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Betty Hodgson.
Rosie is survived by her husband Chuck of Boone; a son Sean Charles Tedrow of Portland, Oregon; a daughter, Joni Marie Tedrow of Boone; two grandsons, Jaymen Charles Tedrow and Joseph Oliver Tedrow; three brothers Dale Palmer of Boone, Oliver Palmer of Ames, and Paul Palmer of Blackfoot, Idaho; and a sister Joyce Palmer and husband Tom Holmes of Boone.
Rosie’s wishes were that memorials in her name be directed to the Boone Area Humane Society.
