Is the book always better than the movie? Join the new book and movie discussion group for adults at the Kirkendall Public Library which meets the first Tuesday of the month at 1:00 PM. One month watch the movie and read the book. The following month discuss the differences and strengths of each media to tell the story. November 6 at 1:00 PM discuss To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Next up in December and January will be The Lincoln Lawyer by Michael Connelly. Book & movie discussion is a great way to meet new people, enjoy a great film and book, and share a little popcorn.
The Library also offers other book discussion groups as well. Two adult book discussion groups are offered each month on the second Tuesday at 1:00pm and on the 3rd Thursday at 7:00pm.
