Greater Des Moines – Along with the Partnership’s Pinterest page, www.GDMPin-Crowd.com is a website where participants can go and upload their own photos. The Partnership’s Pinterest page and www.GDMPin-Crowd.com work together simultaneously to promote activities and points of interest throughout Greater Des Moines that people want to do, experience, or see.
The Partnership is now encouraging area businesses and organizations to start pinning on the Partnership’s boards via www.GDMPin-Crowd.com. Upload a photo and tell the Partnership what’s unique about your business, what you offer to the community or why you choose to do business in Greater Des Moines. Combining the marketing efforts your business already has in place with the Partnership’s will help spread the word to consumers.
For the individual participant – You can win a fifty-dollar Visa gift card by showing the Partnership what you love about Greater Des Moines on their Pinterest page. To pin, make sure you follow GDMPin-Crowd and simply pin on the “been done” board and you will automatically be entered into the drawing. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, October 24 at Noon.
To enter make sure you follow the Partnership’s Pinterest page at www.pinterest.com/gdmpincrowd. Then start pinning by selecting “Add” at the top right hand corner and “Upload a Pin.” You will then select “been done” as your board of choice. You can also re-pin anything from the Partnership’s additional boards to be entered into the contest.
If you choose to get started at www.GDMPin-Crowd.com instead, you can upload a photo and describe why the activity is on your list of things to do or why you want to accomplish the activity. After submitting the photo and description, it will appear on the Partnership’s Pinterest page, under the “other’s fun” board, for other users to pin. Visitors to www.GDMPin-Crowd.com can also pin images directly to their boards from the website.
