Satellite Station

A satellite station will be available on Thursday and Friday, September 27th and 28th, at Polk County River Place, Room 4, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  Payments at the satellite station are limited to property taxes.  Accepted forms of payment are check, credit card, debit card, and electronic check – service fees apply to credit card, debit card and electronic check payments.  NO CASH transactions will be accepted.

Payments may be mailed but must have an October 1st postmark to be processed without late interest.  To receive an October 1st postmark, please mail by 8:30 p.m. on Monday, October 1st, 2012, at the main post office.  If mailing from an outlying post office, please check postmark deadline requirements with the post office to obtain a timely postmark.  Interest on delinquent taxes accrues at 1.5% per month. Company affixed metered mail dates do not supersede the post office postmark.
