John and Frances lived in Pine Snag, Arkansas for many years. John attended auctioneer school and worked as an auctioneer for a couple of years. They were active members of the Pleasant Valley Southern Baptist Church near Pine Snag. The moved back to Iowa, and John worked for Massey Ferguson in Des Moines for over 12 years. John also had his own welding shop and was known to be one of the best welders in the area. He was a member of the New Virginia American Legion Post #281.
John loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed living on the farm, where he enjoyed his big 200 lb dog “Bear”, his horses and always having a garden. He was a collector of guns and knives. He enjoyed watching boxing and cage fighting.
Those relatives who preceded John in death were his parents, brother, Jerry Wyatt; sister, Dorothy Bain and a sister in infancy.
John leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Frances of Osceola; son, John (Gloria) V. Wyatt III of Osceola; daughter, Krystal (Stuart) Wyatt of Des Moines, IA; grandson, Macabo (Angel Hilts) Overton of Des Moines; granddaughter, Gina (Billy) Lewis of Liberty; grandson, Brent Overton of Des Moines; granddaughter, Lacey (Kevin) Anderson of Des Moines; sisters, Kathryn Myer of Green Cove, FL and Sherry Shuey of Henderson, NV; several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
