DES MOINES, Iowa (Sept. 4, 2012) – The Greater Des Moines Music Coalition’s 7th annual Little BIG Fest is set for Saturday, November 17, taking place at both Wooly’s and the House of Bricks in Des Moines’ East Village. Look for a lineup announcement in October.
“Little BIG Fest is one of three festivals we produce annually to promote great live music in Des Moines,” says Greater Des Moines Music Coalition president Justin Schoen. “This festival features two stages of some of the best local and regional roots, jam, blues, bluegrass, folk, alt-country and acoustic bands.”
Schoen adds, “We’ve been privileged to support some excellent bands in the past—groups who are writing and producing top-quality, original music and making Des Moines a more dynamic and textured community.”
Bands are invited to apply for inclusion in the Little BIG Fest lineup. The submission guidelines can be found on the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition website at desmoinesmc.com. Submissions must be received by September 7 at 5pm.
