McKenzie Jo Shwery was born April 18, 2012 to Joshua and Jessica Shwery, and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Saylorville Baptist Church (6429 NW 6th Dr., Des Moines, IA). Burial will be in the Waukee Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 3, 2012 at the Saylorville Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mommy and daddy, Jessica and Joshua Shwery; brother, Logan of Waukee, IA; grandparents, Robert and Tracy Shwery of West Des Moines; Jerry and Jo Ann Shively of Urbandale; great-grandparents, William and Virginia Shively, Josephine Carlson, Bernice Hungerford, Barbara Shwery; uncles and aunts, Jeremy and Amanda Shively, Joseph Shively, and Matthew and Aimee Shwery; cousins, Elizabeth, Imagin, Gavin, and Landon.
