Social Security – Married Couples Filing for Maximum Lifetime Benefits
City Hall Council Chambers
The Retirement Planning Center is offering a one-hour presentation for married couples that have not yet filed for Social Security. Married couples often make the mistake of filing for their Social Security benefits based on just their age, as though they were single. This mistake can cost them 10’s of thousands of dollars over their retirement. If you are married, between ages 55 and 66, have not filed, this presentation can mean thousands of dollars to you and your spouse. The presentation is free, but registration is required.
