Parents are first and foremost the teachers of the children of our parish, says Heather Honkomp, director of religious education at St. Joseph Catholic Church, which is looking for volunteers for pre-K through 12th grade classes this year. Interested parents are urged to indicate their desire to volunteer on their children’s registration forms.

Religious education classes begin on Sept. 17 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, located on 1028 N. Eight Ave.

Located at 1028 N. Eighth Ave., St. Joseph is also getting ready for its religious education school year. Classes begin on Sept. 17. For $10 kids get breakfast, lunch and dinner and a chance to connect and reconnect with friends from summer camp.
